Campus
Mission 2007 Conference, organized by Campus Crusade for Christ International
will be held in Busan, Korea from June 30-July6, 2007 at BEXCO Convention Hall.
One of the goals of CM2007 is to equip university students
for ministry and inspire them to the unfinished task of building campus
movements everywhere.
Out of the 8,000
top campuses worldwide, there are 6,040 campuses with no Christian ministry
presence.
About
20,000 students from all over the world will meet in Busan. A gathering of such
magnitude is a first in the history of the campus ministry. CM2007
will be a milestone in igniting spiritual movements on the campus
world wide and challenge the students to be Christ minded, mission oriented and
life long dedicated children of God. We appeal to every Christian to become an
intercessor for CM 2007.
OUR KEY FOCUS:

2. Connected Movements = A global community of staff leaders and campus students
3. Completed Mission - Reaching the unreached world and preparing a new generation of
spiritual movement builders.
DAILY INTERCESSORY PRAYER FOR CM
2007
SUNDAY:
STUDENTS TO ATTEND: Pray
that God will touch the hearts of thousands of students all over the world
prepare themselves to attend the conference CM 2007. May God help them to raise
sufficient funds to travel to Korea?
PARTICIPANTS: Pray
for each participating students to live a yielded life that is surrendered to
the Lordship of Christ and be a blessing to his family, Campus ministry, his
church and community.
CAMPUS MOVEMENT: Pray that the hearts and lives of
the students and staff will be connected as a global community of campus
movements
FOR
SPIRITUAL MOVEMENT: Pray that God will unleash a new generation of
spiritual movement builders/multipliers to strengthen existing movements, and
the launching of new movements on the unreached University campuses.
MONDAY:
Mobilization
of intercessors:
Pray for the mobilization of intercessors for CM 2007. We are
trusting God to raise at least 100,000 prayer intercessors from Korea and
another 100,000 from around the world. Pray for God to raise up this army of
spiritual warriors to commit them to pray daily for CM 2007.
DESIGN TEAM: Pray for the organizing committee,
Design team of CM 2007, to plan an effective God guided program for CM 2007
conference.
LOCAL ARRANGEMENTS: Pray for the Korea CM2007 Task
Force: Local arrangements committee to raise needed funds to make local
arrangements for the conference, to provide food and accommodation for 20,000
participants.
PUBLICITY: Pray for creatively to use
different means to publicize CM 2007. We trust God for 20,000 students and
staff members to attend. Pray for each country to adapt the publicity materials
to publicize this event.
Tuesday:
PRAYER WARRIORS: Pray for each CM 2007 participant
to become a prayer warrior and be instrumental in starting prayer movements in
their campuses.
SPECIAL CAMPUS EDITION BOOKLET
FOR PRAYER: Pray for
the completion of Operation World Special Campus edition to be completed by May
2007. Pray that many will use the contents of the book to pray specifically for
almost all the campuses in the world. Pray too that many will be challenged to
campus ministry mission.
FUND RAISING: Pray and ask God to supply us US$4
million that is needed for this conference. Pray for those who have pledged to
give that God will prosper them so that they can fulfill their commitment. Pray
for overseas participants that they will be able to raise the money to come for
this conference.
Fund Development Team: Pray
for the Fund Development team that God will grant them favor as they meet with
prospective donors and that God will convict them to partner with us through
their giving for CM 2007.
Wednesday:
Focus on Operations: Pray for continual favor as we
work with the management of BEXCO (the conference site) and the officials from
the city of Busan. Pray that the city officials will be willing to help deploy
traffic police and other people to help us.
RECRUITMENT OF LOCAL VOLUNTEERS: Pray for the recruitment of
volunteers and Stinters that we will be able to finalise their job description
and be able to share this need with all the participating countries. Ask God
for wisdom as we work on a short training course.
ACCOMODATION: Pray for many Christians to open
their home to house participants. Pray for God to open many doors so that we
can house 20,000 in campus dorms, condominiums, motels and hostels throughout
the city of Busan.
FOOD
COMMITTEE: Pray for
wisdom for the Food committee as they decide on the caterers and to plan
suitable food for students coming from various parts of the world.
Thursday:
PROTECTION: Pray for safety for each
participant as they travel from their housing site to the conference site. Pray
for God’s protection over everyone who attends the conference, especially
for God’s protection and security of the conference sight from the evildoers
and for political stability in South Korea and the participant home country.
TRAVEL: Pray for the overseas participants
that they can get special fares for their air-tickets. Pray for visas for
participants from communism countries or Moslem countries.
NO TYPHOON: Pray for fine weather as July
marks the start of the rainy season. Pray that no typhoon will hit Busan during
that period.
Friday,
FOCUS ON CONFERENCE PROGRAM: Pray for keynote speakers that God
will use their message to touch the lives of each participant. Pray that the
Holy Spirit will convict each student to be transformed and have a passion for
reaching all the campus students and serve God. Pray for a special touch from
God that each of them will meet God in a special way during the conference.
FOR STUDENT LEADERS: Pray for the student leaders as
they attend the special Leadership track that they will come with open hearts
and minds and avail themselves to serve the Lord in reaching their country.
Pray for good bonding and fellowship among all the participants.
CONFERENCE
SPEAKERS: Pray for
all the speakers and the seminar leaders that they will experience good health
and they will be refreshed as a result of attending CM 2007.
Saturday;
FOCUS ON MISSIONS: Pray that God will touch the hearts of many students to become
full time missionaries. Pray they will be a blessing to their churches too.
UNREACHED CAMPUSES: Pray that many present day
students will come forward when they finish their studies to adopt and start
ministry on the remaining 6000 unreached major campuses. Pray for effective and
strategic partnership to be forge between countries in reaching campuses.
Pray for
each country or regional areas to maximize the use of the Missions Booths at
the conference to share about the campus needs and to forge many new
partnerships in reaching unreached campuses in their country or region.
CM 2007 Global Design Team and
Korea CM2007 Task Force: Pray for Global design Team members and
Korea CM2007 Task Force Team members. Pray for God grants them new strength,
wisdom and best communication.
9 After this I
looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count,
from every
nation, tribe, people and language,
standing before
the throne and in front of the Lamb.
They were wearing
white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.
10And they cried out in a loud voice:
"Salvation belongs to our God,
who sits on the throne,
and to the Lamb."
11All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God,
12saying:
"Amen! Praise and glory
and wisdom and thanks and honor
and power and strength
be to our God for ever and ever.
Amen!"
